Linus | Newborn Baby Photographer, Delta, B.C.

December 23rd, 2011

This little man was so good to me.  He not only was absolutely adorable but he was also so sweet and sleepy! Linus was my first newborn photo session since I had my little guy and I really can’t believe how quickly these tiny newborns grow up. Linus had the most perfect features and creamy skin. He was a dream to photograph. Congratulations to D & E on your precious baby boy.

I have known the C family for quite a while now and I was so excited to see how much their little man had grown up over the past year. We were so lucky to get the perfect winter afternoon for our photo session at Queen Elizabeth park in Vancouver. It was bright, sunny, and frosty. I photographed little J back when he was still in his mommy’s tummy and then when he was only 7 days new. It is so wonderful to see how he has grown up into an adorable and energetic 2 year old.

We had a gorgeous afternoon for my last family photo session this season. I have had the pleasure of knowing the P Family for just over 3 years. Our first children are just a month apart and I was lucky enough to take their sweet baby girl’s newborn photos. Queen Elizabeth Park is so gorgeous at this time of year and it is a wonderful location for family photos. I was a bit worried that November might be too late in the season for those beautiful fall colours but I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it was a bit chilly both children were so good and we were able to get some great pictures.

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween.  My daughter absolutely loved Halloween this year and kept asking to go to “more houses.”  She walked for an hour and a half straight before we could finally convince her it was time to go home.   The best part is that while she loved getting her treats she doesn’t even have any interest in actually eating the candy.  Playing with it?  Absolutely.  Eating it, not so much.  I am sure by next Halloween though she will have discovered a love for candy.  :)   Our little pup slept through most of the trick-or-treating this year.
